Biography

I was born in Colne,Lancashire. (Joy Wadsworth)
I studied in London, Portsmouth and Brighton. I have worked as an artist for almost 35 years.

After an Art education at Goldsmiths College of Art, Portsmouth Polytechnic and Sussex University, I taught Art and Ceramics in Portsmouth and in Harrow to secondary school children and adults.


My work has been widely exhibited since 1979 in Britain, Europe and the U.S.A.
Ceramic works have been purchased for the Public Collection at Southampton City Art Gallery and by Leicester County.
My work is in private collections worldwide.

Recently I have worked as an Art Therapist with Teenage neurological patients at Guys and St. Thomas' Hospital, London. The group worked with Paper Porcelain and enjoyed seeing their work fired and finished.
